Elderly hikers missing earlier now all found

Three people were reported missing while hiking in Sai Kung last night, but all have now been found. 

Police and firefighters have deployed personnel and searched overnight near Pak Tam Chung in Sai Kung.

A group of elderly hikers set off yesterday morning from Pak Lap to the East Dam of the High Island Reservoir. Later, three male members of the group, aged between 70 and 80, were found missing. They were last seen at Fa Shan, and the group alerted the police.

Rescue workers located a 76-year-old man at Pak Lap Village at 4 a.m. He was conscious with scrapes on his hands and feet and was taken to the hospital. Another 73-year-old man was found near Choi Wan Estate just before 10 a.m. The third man was found at around 11 a.m.
