The controversial "Enhanced Games" are about to kick off in Las Vegas, featuring athletes competing in swimming, athletics and weightlifting while using performance-enhancing substances under medical supervision. Nicknamed the 'Doping Olympics', the controversial event will feature 42 athletes including Olympic champions and world record holders. There is a 500,000-US-dollar prize pool for all events. If a winner breaks a world record they receive an extra 250,000 dollars. An additional 1 million will be awarded those who snatch up the the 50 metre freestyle and 100 metre sprint titles. The games' CEO Maximilian Martin defends the use of performance enhancers, saying, there's no need to fear what science can do to help people feel stronger and healthier.
