Parts of Tsing Kwai Highway closed off after van caught on fire

A vehicle burst into flames on Tsing Kwai Highway this afternoon with sections of the highway heading towards the airport having been closed to the public.
The incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. with much of the van suffering extensive burn damage.
An assortment of items burnt to a crisp were found inside what remains of the vehicle.
Signs of the fire were also left on site. This as the 76-year-old driver was unharmed.
Initial investigations by the police indicate the blaze was caused by a mechanicla failure.
