The Rocky Flower Valley in Youyang County, Chongqing, was once a severely rocky desert.
Through ecological restoration, the area has created a unique landscape by integrating Cambrian stromatolite remains with Nuo culture (Chinese popular exorcistic religion), attracting many tourists.
The stromatolites here were formed 500 million years ago during the Cambrian period and are hailed as "the history book of the earth."
