Drone delivery services set to take off in New York and New Jersey

In the U.S., the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey launched a yearlong trial of drone delivery.
The trial began in April with a drone flying back and forth across the East River carrying a container of foam and paper, simulating documents.
The trial entails multiple round-trip flights between Downtown Skyport and Brooklyn Marine Terminal.
A round trip flight across the East River takes around six minutes a far shorter time compared with driving -which takes around 30 minutes.
