At least 22 people were killed and scores more injured in Ukraine, after overnight attacks by Russian missiles and drones.
The strikes took place hours before a ceasefire declared by Kyiv, and three days before a Moscow-promised pause in fighting.
In Zaporizhzhia, Russian glide bombs hit a range of industrial, commercial and residential buildings, killing at least 10 people and wounding 18 others.
Russian airstrikes killed and injured dozens more in the cities of Kramatorsk and Chernihiv.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy slammed Russia's "utter cynicism" in attacking after announcing a ceasefire.
Meanwhile, Ukraine launched its own strikes on Russian targets, including military complexes and a oil refinery deep inside Russian territories.
