Car rams into crowd in Germany, kills two

German police are investigating the death of two people after a driver ploughed into a crowd in a busy shopping area in Leipzig.
Three others were seriously injured with an unspecified number of people also sustaining less serious injuries.
Mayor Burkhard Jung says it was a deliberate rampage and describes the incident as a terrible tragedy.
The driver, a 33-year-old German-born local resident, was arrested in the vehicle and did not resist arrest.
He is under investigation on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
