Fanling Bypass in operation on first work day since opening

Some drivers said the eastern section of the Fanling Bypass help to divert traffic. The new road was opened on Sunday.
Traffic was busy on the bypass on Monday morning. A traffic police was stationed on the side of the road to monitor the situation.
A driver thinks the road can help avoid traffic jam blackspots, providing another commute option for residents going between Kowloon and the north district. Another driver said the new road could save about five minutes of his time.
