There was an attempted robbery at the branch of Hang Seng Bank on Yee Wo Street in Causeway Bay this afternoon.
A suspect was arrested.
At around 5 p.m., a knife-wielding man charged into the bank.
He reportedly approached a counter and handed a note to a staff member, demanding 100,000 dollars.
The staffer immediately triggered the alarm, prompting the suspect to flee.
The suspect was later rounded up by police near SOGO Department Store.
A knife was found on the man.
More investigations are underway.
