Vice Premier He Lifeng says China welcomes more foreign businesses to deepen cooperation with China and participate in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The remark was made while meeting the representative of British-founded, Hong Kong-based conglomerate Jardine Matheson.
This as He Lifeng met the company's executive chairman Ben Keswick in Beijing.
The vice premier says during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, China will unwaveringly expand high-standard opening up, creating broader market opportunities for foreign enterprises.
Keswick says Jardine Matheson is confident in China's development prospects and will continue to deepen its presence in the Chinese market and make contributions to the sustained development of trade relations between Britain and China.
