Cinema Day discounted tickets go on sale today

Saturday marks the Cinema Day. Tickets are priced uniformly at HK$30, and ticket sales begin from noon today.

At one point, the website of MCL Cinemas had over 3,000 people in the queue. It took about 30 minutes to enter the website and purchase tickets.

This year’s Cinema Day involves 52 participating cinemas. As in previous years, all screenings—regardless of the screening format or type of cinema, including IMAX venues—have a uniform ticket price of HK$30. Each person may purchase up to four tickets per transaction/visit. Discounts for senior citizens, children, and students are temporarily suspended.
