A half marathon and a humanoid robot half marathon were held simultaneously in Beijing this morning. The first robot crossed the finish line in about 48 minutes. The robot "Lightning" from Honor crashed into the divider board beside the track about 50 meters before the finish line and fell to the ground. After being helped up by staff, the robot continued the race. It then crossed the finish line in 48 minutes and 19 seconds. The half marathon started at 7:30 am, with the human runners and robot tracks separated on the left and right sides. Robots took turns to start, each 30 seconds apart. The course was approximately 21 kilometers long, and the world record for a human half marathon is over one hour. This year's Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon attracted over 100 teams and more than 300 robots, including teams from Hong Kong. Organizers said the speed and stability of this year's participating robots have significantly improved. The race course featured over ten different complex terrains, comprehensively testing the robots' various capabilities.
