Financial Secretary says Hong Kong will accelerate green energy transformation

Amid the global energy crisis, Financial Secretary Paul Chan said the city will speed up its shift to green energies.
Writing on his weekly blog, the financial chief said Hong Kong will increase its zero-carbon energy to between 60 and 70 percent by 2035.
He revealed that a new energy transmission system will be completed within this year.
This Wednesday is the National Secruity Education Day. He said security is core to the goal of achieving high-quality development and Hong Kong should enhance its capabilities in risk prevention and emergency response.
