Transport bureau asks airlines to maintain social responsibility

The Transport and Logistics Bureau said that it has met with local airlines to emphasise the importance of maintaining the competitiveness of Hong Kong's airport and remind them of their key role and social responsibility.
The government will continue to closely monitor the situation.
The bureau also says it is actively contacting different airlines to encourage them to allocate additional flights to destinations that are underserved due to the closure of airspace in the Middle East.
