Man receives 6-week jail terms after dealing 25 fake concert tickets fo $2,000

A 35-year-old pharmacy assistant has been sentenced to six weeks behind bars for dealing in 25 fake concert tickets in exchange for 2,000 dollars.

In mitigation, the defendant was said to have collected the tickets from the mainland only to discover they were fraudulent.

The judge also considered that he expressed remorse.

The man was intercepted in Tai Wai MTR Station during a police operation against bogus concert tickets in December 2024.
