Residents of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po can begin going back to their apartments in batches to collect their belongings starting from the 20th of this month.

The new management company of the estate will hold briefing sessions early next month.

Secretary for Home Affairs and Youth Affairs Alice Mak said she will ensure the briefing sessions do not conflict with the dates when residents go back to their flats to collect their belongings or the public hearing dates.

Residents of the seven blocks in Wang Fuk Court will be able to go back to their flats to collect their belongings in two weeks. The process will be conducted in three batches, starting with residents of Chi Sun House.

Residents will be allowed entry in morning or afternoon sessions. A maximum of four people per household can go upstairs at a time, and each household can stay in their unit for a maximum of three hours.

Mak said the management company has received over 800,000 documents, requiring time for door-to-door verification and sorting.
