The Centre for Health Protection on Monday said Hong Kong has recorded an imported measles case. The case involves a 30-year-old man, who is an airport staff. He developed a fever, cough and runny nose on March 31st. He was admitted to the North Lantau Hospital on Saturday before developing rashes. He was transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital on the same day. On Monday, his clinical specimen for the measles virus tested positive. CHP said the man had travelled to Indonesia during the incubation period and was uncertain whether he had received measles vaccination. Authorities remind residents who were born after 1967 and haven't received two doses of measles jab to complete the vaccination as soon as possible.
