Australia's ABC staff will walk off the job on Wednesday for a 24-hour strike, marking the first major industrial action at the national broadcaster in two decades.
Among its 4,500 workers, more than 2,000 would take part in the strike.
The strike follows a vote by staff members represented by the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance and the Community and Public Sector Union, in which 60 percent of staff rejected the latest agreement offer.
