3-vehicle crash in Sai Kung leaves one injured, traffic severely disrupted

A three-vehicle collision in Sai Kung left one person injured and temporarily brought traffic in both directions to a halt.
The accident occurred at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, when a coach carrying primary school students was travelling Sai Kung.
According to sources, near Sai Kung Fire Station, the coach lost control, crossed into the opposite lane, and collided with two private cars heading towards Kowloon.
A non-ethnic-Chinese male driver in one of the cars was briefly trapped and later rescued by firefighters. He sustained injuries to his hand.
All 15 students on board the coach, along with the driver and an attendant, were unscathed.
Multiple bus routes were disrupted, with some passengers choosing to get off and continue on foot into Sai Kung.
