John Lee said 410,000 talent scheme applications were approved

Chief Executive John Lee attended the Global Talent Summit Week today. 

In his speech, he said that as of the end of last month, more than 410,000 applications had been approved under various talent admission schemes, and more than 270,000 people had arrived in Hong Kong. The government will ensure that talents coming to Hong Kong are valued and supported.

Lee said:
“Even as global competition for talent intensifies, our objective should not be out-compete one another, rather our goal must be to expend opportunities through cooperation.

We will continue to uphold openess, deepen international engagement, and align closely with our national development strategy. we will further refine our policies in education, innovation, and infrastructure.”
