Four airlines have raised fuel surcharges effective today, with Hong Kong Airlines raising its surcharge once again within a week.

Under the new surcharge, Hong Kong Airlines' fuel surcharge for short-haul routes from Hong Kong to Japan, South Korea, etc., will increase to HK$290. 

For long-haul routes to North America, Europe, etc., the surcharge will increase to HK$1,164. The surcharge for flights to mainland China will remain at HK$190. Hong Kong Airlines said that the adjustments were made after review.

In addition, Cathay Pacific's previously announced fuel surcharge increase takes effect today, with short-haul routes increasing to HK$290 and long-haul routes to HK$1,164. 

Hong Kong Express's fuel surcharge will also increase to HK$290 effective immediately. Both airlines have not changed their fares for flights to mainland China.

Greater Bay Area Airlines has increased its fuel surcharge to HK$290, while its fares for flights to mainland China remain unchanged.
