Truck fire at Kwai Chung container terminal linked to suspected illegal fuel station

A truck caught fire at the Kwai Chung Container Terminal, with no injuries reported.
Authorities suspect the vehicle was an illegal mobile fuel station and are searching for a female vehicle owner.
The blaze was so intense that at one point the smoke affected visibility on nearby Route 3.
Fire investigators found traces of flammable liquid combustion. Equipment such as fuel tanks, hoses, and nozzles were discovered on the severely burned vehicle.
While a typical light truck holds about 100 litres, the tank on the vehicle was found to have a capacity of up to 2,000 litres.
Officers have urged witnesses to come forward.
