Workers show understanding toward tightened security measures in Wang Fuk Court

Following the arrest of three workers for allegedly stealing from a fire-damaged unit at Wang Fuk Court,
the police have implemented a set of security measures as structural reinforcement work resumes today. 

This morning, additional officers were deployed to the complex as workers arrived for duty. 

As usual, workers registered their ID cards and phone numbers before going upstairs. 

Workers must also store their personal belongings in lockers, and no one is allowed to carry more than 500 dollars in cash.

Before entering a flat, the police will first record and confirm whether there are any visible valuables inside. 

Once workers finish their tasks, the police will conduct body searches by using metal detectors. 

Some workers expressed their understanding regarding these arrangements.
