Man suspected of assaulting wife and fell from height

A man is suspected of assaulting his wife inside a flat in Yuen Long. He later fell from a height and was sent unconscious to Tuen Mun Hospital for emergency treatment.

Police cordoned off the scene, where some personal items were left behind.

At around 10 a.m., police received a report from a woman who said she was assaulted and that a fire was set by her husband inside a unit at No. 88 Fung Cheung Road, Yuen Long. The woman later sustained an injury to her hand and was taken to Pok Oi Hospital for treatment. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire about 15 minutes later.

The case is currently being handled as an assault and arson investigation.
