In the Wuhou Temple Scenic Area in Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province, a 400-year-old ancient water lily, known as the "plant panda," is said to have been planted by the ancients to commemorate Zhuge Liang.
While its peak blooming season is usually in early March, it began to bloom in mid-February this year, making it the earliest bloom in its history.
