John Lee starts visit programme in Beijing

Chief Executive John Lee has arrived in Beijing to attend the opening of the National People's Congress.
After checking into his hotel at noon, he began his visit by meeting the Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Song Zhiyong.
Lee said the SAR government will deepen cooperation with the CAAC, and promote the airport cluster in the Greater Bay Area.
Lee then met with the Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Zhang Yuzhuo.
Lee thanked the Commission for its support in accelerating the Northern Metropolis project.
On Thursday, the city leader will attend the opening of the National People's Congress, before returning to the city the same day.
