A gunman opened fire outside a bar in the U.S. city of Austin, killing 2 people and injuring 14 others.
Responding police officers killed the shooter, and the FBI is looking into whether the shooting was an act of terrorism, as "indicators" were found on the shooter and his vehicle.
Sources say the gunman may have been motivated to kill by the US and Israel strikes on Iran.
The shooting took place in a nightlife destination a few miles from the University of Texas.
Austin Mayor Kirk Watson praised the rapid response by police and rescuers, who may have prevented the gunman from hurting more revellers.
