Massive winter storm on US east coast brings two feet of snow in places

NBC News reports a life threatening situation unfolding in the U.S. northeast as cities from Washington D.C. to Boston are in the bullseye of a powerful winter storm set to bring one to two feet of snow.

This is bad news for New York City which is still recovering from a storm from weeks ago and now is under a blizzard warning, the first in decades.
