A man died after falling into the sea in Sai Kung

A man in Sai Kung's Po Pin Chau area is suspected of falling into the sea while taking photos. He was found unconscious by firefighters but died later.

At around 10 a.m., police received a report that a man in his 30s had fallen into the sea while hiking on Po Pin Chau in Sai Kung. Police and firefighters launched a search and rescue operation in the area. 

A fireboat located the man and rescued him, but he was already unconscious. He was taken to the Marine Police base opposite Sai Kung, where he later died. Sources at the scene suggested that the man was taking photos when he allegedly slipped and fell into the sea.
