HK logs 4.84 million trips over 4-day Christmas break

Many Hongkongers were travelling over the Christmas holiday period.

Immigration figures show more than 4.84 million passenger trips were recorded across all control points from last Thursday to Sunday, with over 3.63 million being Hong Kong residents.

Outbound trips peaked on Christmas Day with nearly 800,000 people leaving the city.

Yesterday was the busiest day for arrivals, seeing 730,000 inbound trips.
