Public consultation on free-to-air television licences begins

The Communications Authority has started a two-month public consultation on the renewal of the licences of three free-to-air television stations.
The three local free-to-air television stations, Television Broadcasts Limited, HKTV Entertainment, and i-Cable TV have submitted renewal applications for their licenses.
Public feedback can be submitted to the Communications Authority in writing or by email.
Recommendations will be submitted to the Chief Executive in Council by the end of March next year.
