Fourth Type 075 amphibious assault ship Hubei makes debut on PLA day

Today August 1st, is Army Day, which commenorates the founding of the People's Liberation Army, or PLA.
Flag rising ceremonies are held in many parts of China.
The PLA Navy's fourth Type 075 warship "Hubei" was on public display for the first time.
Making its first public appearance on PLA day, the PLA Navy's fourth Type 075 amphibious warship Hubei is developed in China.
With a displacement tonnage of some 40,000 tonnes, the ship is one of the largest of its type in the world.
Its deck allows helicopters to take off, while the ship can carry tanks.
To celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army, military camps across China carried out flag raising ceremonies.
Meanwhile, some of them watched red movies that tell stories of the PLA's history.
On August 1st, 1927, the founding fathers of modern China such as Zhou Enlai and Zhu De, with over 30,000 troops in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, launched an armed uprising against the Kuomintang.
This uprising is considered the beginning of the Communist Party of China's independent leadership of the armed struggle and the creation of a revolutionary army.
August 1st of each year has been designated as the date of the uprising.
