Passengers flee smoking jet in Denver

An American Airlines jet suffered a landing gear mishap during its takeoff in Denver. Passengers had to slide down the emergency chute of the smoking plane.
The Boeing 737 MAX 8, with 173 passengers and six crew members on board, was about to depart for Miami when the accident took place.
Passengers escaped the smoking plane by sliding down the chute, some of them clutching luggage and small children.
One of the passengers was taken to hospital with a minor injury, and five others were checked for injuries at the scene but didn't require hospitalisation.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration is investigating what went wrong.
