Local health authorities take measures against Chikungunya

The Centre for Health Protection today, or CHP, said authorities will take measures to prevent the spread of Chikungunya in Hong Kong.
The CHP said authorities have been working closely with Guangdong and Macao counterparts in response to an increase of Chikungunya cases in Foshan city.
The department said letters have been issued to all hospitals in Hong Kong, asking them to take notice of symptoms related to the disease among patients who return from abroad.
