LEE SHUK MING, Senior Scientific Officer, Hong Kong Observatory: "As for the weather forecast, becoming gale force north to northheasterly winds, storm force off shore and on high ground becoming east to south easterly later. Cloudy to overcast with frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms."
