Sunday will mark the 52nd anniversary of the death of martial arts legend Bruce Lee.

To commemorate his legacy, an exhibition honouring the late action star's memorabilia has been organised in Sham Shui Po.

Bruce Lee's younger brother, Robert Lee, said he is pleased to see the long-lasting influence of Bruce Lee.

The yellow jumpsuit that captured the world's attention in 1970s' classic action flick The Game of Death -- just one among a treasure trove of Bruce Lee-themed displays.

Visitors also have the chance to see film posters featuring Lee as well as newspaper headlines announcing the martial arts legend's sudden passing.

The exhibition, located in Sham Shui Po, is part of the commemoration of the 52nd anniversary of the death of Bruce Lee, with a collection of memorabilia related to the late star on display.

Here, residents can relive the kung fu-mania of the 70s via Bruce Lee-themed watches, toys and even his world-renowned nunchucks.

The action star's younger brother, Robert Lee, also made an appearance at the exhibition in a show of support, noting that he's pleased to see his sibling's influence reaching the current generation.

Lee said he continues to be amazed by how his brother managed to play such a major role in the lives of so many people around the world.

Meanwhile, this year also marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Bruce Lee Club.

The club's chairman, Wong Yiu-keung, urged the government to set up a permanent Bruce Lee exhibition as part of the authorities' efforts to attract international tourists.

He stressed the action star is one of the most well-known Hongkongers on the global stage and an icon of the city, and suggested that a tourism package focusing on the life of the martial arts legend could benefit the tourism sector.

The exhibition, held at Upper Deck Tai Nan in Sham Shui Po, will remain open to visitors until the 3rd of next month.
