A truck collided with a bus in Kwun Tong

A truck and a bus collided at the intersection of Sau Mau Ping Road and Lin Tak Road in Kwun Tung this morning, resulting in 12 people injured, including the two drivers.

The accident happened at around 9:30 a.m.

The front and cargo container of the truck were severely damaged, with goods and containers scattered all over the road. The windshield of the driver's compartment was damaged. 

Some bus passengers were injured, with some requiring on-site treatment.

As a result of the accident, both directions of Lin Tak Road were closed, and multiple bus routes had to be diverted.
