13-year-old arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking

A 13-year-old Secondary 1 student has been arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking.
This after the police found one kilogramme of suspected methamphetamine with an estimated street value of 530,000 dollars at his home in Mong Kok.
The police intercepted the boy in the corridor of a residential building yesterday afternoon.
The 13-year-old was then taken back to his home where officers uncovered the stash of suspected meth and 6 grams of a mixed drug commonly known as "happy powder."
The teenager is believed to have been lured by drug traffickers into earning fast money.
His father has passed away and his mother works as a cleaner, reportedly making only 8,000 dollars a month.
