The annual Learning & Teaching Expo will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from this Wednesday to Friday.

New features include international pavilions, attracting more than 20 exhibitors from the mainland and overseas.

As a key event of the Education Bureau's Digital Education Week, the Expo will feature over 600 booths, with free entry and pre-registration.

This year's new feature -- international pavilions -- has attracted more than 20 exhibitors from overseas, including Singapore and South Korea, to showcase their innovative education technology.

Eric Lam, co-founder of Estha.ai, says Hong Kong's education system is the most similar to that of Singapore.

The company wants to explore Hong Kong educators' biggest needs to evaluate their AI products.

The expo will also feature more than 270 programmes, including thematic seminars and open lessons.

Over 200 local and overseas scholars, educators and principals will share their professional experience and innovative educational ideas on various topics.

The organiser aims to promote the application of AI in the local education sector.

Tenny Lam, executive director of EdCity, says AI can be used in school administration, reducing teachers' workload and encouraging students to innovate.

EdCity aims to be the super-connector for outstanding educational innovation companies worldwide, providing wider choices for local schools.

The expo also includes a Development Bureau section, displaying infrastructure from different districts to boost STEAM education and cross-curricular learning.
