Public registration for Chinese naval fleet opens

A naval fleet led by the Shandong aircraft carrier will visit Hong Kong between July 3rd and 7th. Public registration for visiting the fleet has opened today. 

The registration was open at 10 a.m. In less than a minute,  all available slots were gone.

Members of the public can reserve a spot again at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. via the PLA Hong Kong Garrison's WeChat account.

The fleet, which includes the Zhanjiang missile destroyer and the Yuncheng missile frigate, will allow public visits on the weekend. A total of 10, 000 tickets will be distributed, with 2,000 reserved for the Shandong aircraft carrier and 8,000 for the other two vessels.
