A man was arrested for allegedly making a false robbery report to the police.
He had told the police he was robbed in the early hours of Monday at Kowloon Peak where three men took from him 30,000 dollars in cash and other items.
He even claimed he managed to track the robbers through his lost bluetooth earpiece to Yau Ma Tei.
However, sources said after police investigations, the man was found not to have travelled to Kowloon Peak at all.
Authorities believe the false report was made because of a money dispute.
