Xia Baolong continues on second day of visit to Hong Kong

Xia Baolong, the Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, continues on the second day of his visit to the city.
He met with representatives from higher education institutions and visited the Kai Tak Sports Park.
Xia was seen waving as he arrived at the Central Government Offices this morning.
Beijing's top official overseeing the city's affairs met with a number of local leaders from political parties and organisations including Chairman of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong Gary Chan and Heung Yee Kuk Chairman Kenneth Lau.
During the afternoon, Xia met with representatives from higher education institutions consisting of school presidents and board chairmen from eight government-funded universities.
