Strong Wind Signal No.3 to remain early afternoon

The Hong Kong Observatory said the Strong Wind Signal No.3 remains in force until the early afternoon.
The weather forecaster said Tropical Storm Wutip continued to weaken and move inland Guangdong this morning, but its outer rainbands were bringing squally showers to the coast of Guangdong, and strong winds were prevailing over many areas.
The Observatory said it will consider issuing the Standby Signal No.1, or replacing the tropical cyclone warning signal with the Strong Monsoon Signal.
