Secretary for Environment and Ecology Tse Chin-wan today reminded members of the public to not test the boundaries of national security conditions.

This came after national security clauses were added to almost 20 types of licences and permits, including restaurants and swimming pools.

The Food and Hygiene Department earlier added national security conditions to different venues' licences and permits.

Speaking on a radio programme, Tse said the clauses have listed clearly what counts as offensive behaviour. He said if residents are unsure if a certain behaviour undermines national security, they should simply not do it.
