Hong Kong is hosting the International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo for the first time.
The four-day event features a lineup of new energy vehicles and "flying cars."
The event kicked off at AsiaWorld-Expo.
Among the highlights is Hongqi, the official state car brand of Chinese leaders.
It drew crowds with a flying car prototype that blurs the line between science fiction and reality.
Also on display are high-end right-hand-drive sedans from another brand under Hongqi, which aims to enter the Hong Kong market.
A total of 11 Chinese auto companies are participating in the show.
Some firms integrated AI into their new energy cars and expressed hope Hong Kong's regulatory framework can keep up with their innovation.
