Five more people had suspected of suffering from food poisoning after consuming raw oysters.
The case involves two men and three women, who visited Chef's Cuts in Wong Chuk Hang on January 30th. They later developed food poisoning symptoms, including diarrhoea, abdominal pain and fever, about 14 to 49 hours after their meal. Investigation shows that all the diners had consumed raw oysters at the restaurant.
The CHP said they had recorded 34 food poisoning cases over the past three weeks, affecting 108 people. Among them, 30 cases were related to norovirus. Authorities said patients in all of those cases had consumed raw oysters during the incubation period.
