Unregistered slimming product sold online

The Department of Health is investigating the illegal online sale of a slimming product found to contain undeclared controlled substances.

The product is labeled "KOREAN PREMIUM" and "KRN+PM," which testing results indicated it contains ingredients such as hydrochlorothiazide and fluoxetine.

These two substances can lead to low blood pressure and insomina respectively.

While the product is suspected to be an unregistered pharmaceutical product, the authorities remind the public not to buy products of doubtful composition.
