Dead whale found on Sai Kung beach

A whale carcass was found on a beach in Ham Tin Wan in Sai Kung.

Images provided by viewers shows the whale was 10 metres long with many severely decomposed parts, believed to have been washed ashore by waves.

A staff member at a nearby restaurant said the whale carcass was discovered around 10:00 a.m.; it was severely decomposed, and there was a strong bad smell, prompting him to call the police.
